So... These two. Peak.

When I was asked by Mary and Daniel to photograph their wedding, I was excited. When I found out we were going to a greenhouse in between the ceremony and the reception, I got super excited. A wedding in Ohio in November doesn't leave you with many options, after all. We arrived shortly before their ceremony at the Grand Pacific Junction Chapel to get some of the good getting-ready stuff. Daniel did a bit of pacing and chatting with family & friends while Mary and her sister prepared in the bridal suite.

A Family First Look.

I love a first look, regardless of how it goes down. Mary and Daniel opted to see each other for the first time when Mary and her Dad walked down the aisle. However, Mary wanted to surprise her Dad and brother. With limited options and it being cold out, we decided to all cram onto the porch for it. We brought them out and that's when Mary walked out to surprise them.

Time to get married!

Besides being cold, we were also ready to get inside and get the ceremony underway! I assumed my position near the alter while Tamara (of Sacred Heart Foto) took the balcony for some clutch second angles. The highlight of the ceremony was her Dad lighting the wrong candle, then almost knocking them over to blow them out! It ended up a lighthearted moment that got the crowd laughing though.

Off to the greenhouse!

After quite the "grand" exit leaving the church, I drove separate while Tamara rode in the party bus to get some of the, well, party! The Rockefeller Park Greenhouse was so beautiful and a great change of pace from the snow. We had such a blast.

Someone hit the lights!

Let's get them back to the reception. As much as I love photographing my couples, I try to leave them a little time to enjoy cocktail hour. It's chill and often the first time they have all day to exhale. We moved on to first dances, speeches, and of course got that dancefloor going. This was honestly a wedding for the ages!
